Kehoe Iron & Bronze is a husband and wife metal smithing business serving the central coast of California. It was started in 2014 by artist blacksmith Dennis Kehoe and his wife Kasey Krebbers Kehoe. Dennis is a self taught artist and has worked in many mediums over the years. It was in 2008 that he began his journey as a blacksmith. He originally got started with the intent to apply the techniques to his sculpture work, but one swing of the hammer was all it took and he soon fell in love with the craft and it's rich tradition. After a few years building his skills while also building his tools, Dennis was ready to begin taking on commissions. Although able to build projects at his day job as an art department tech for a community college, Dennis and Kasey needed a shop to get the business off the ground. It was in the summer of 2014 that they began construction on a small shop space in the backyard of their Los Osos home. The two haven't looked back.

Dennis draws from 15 years of fine art experience to offer his clients unique, personalized designs for their homes and businesses. Kasey has welded as a U.A. Ironworker and a U.A. Pipefitter.  Aside from doing majority of the welding Kasey is skilled at most aspects of metal fabrication.

Dennis and Kasey have every intention to grow their business and eventually lease a larger space and acquire larger tools to take on grander projects. But this is a special time and they feel blessed to be able to do what they love out of their humble little backyard shop together with their two young boys.

If you are interested in working with Kehoe Iron & Bronze please fill out the form on the contact page. Dennis is happy to work with designers, architects, contractors, and homeowners.
